India – working in the slum communities.
Five years ago, our own volunteer visiting a local slum close Apollo hospital in New Delhi, hoping
enrich her children’s homeschooling education. She was thrown back witnessing the impoverished
communities. Since this day Shazia has been advocating for better living conditions for them, due to
her commitment in supporting the slums we have, in the last 5 years helped elevate poverty,
Ramadan meals, education, emergency health support. We have recently set up education and
empowering project.
The settlement we support sits on a litter dumping site, it is one of the many unofficial slums of
India. At the start of 2024 650 resided in these slums ,majority of the families are Muslim refugees
from Burma. Residents are oppressed and broken.
The people living in the slums face discrimination at every level.
The Challenges
Within the dense population 67% of the children are malnourished, they have one of the highestmorality rate in India.Residence of slums face vulnerability due to the intertwined challenges of persecution,
discrimination, and poverty. Children as young as 5 engage in crime, little picker and street begging
to overcome their daily struggle for survival.

We Care’s impactful work in the slum ensures we can uplift the lives of talented children by offering
them a safe place for education/ extra tuition
Makeshift safe space-
The settlement we support sits is sitting on unofficial land, this does mean just as residents face
many restrictions, so do we, this means in terms of space and environment we have to work with
that is available.
We care foundation is supporting 30 students
We care is providing daily Quran class. Our teacher offers 4 hours of teaching 5 days a week.
Help Us Teach Quran
Education
500$ a year
£500 a year will allow us to pay our Quran teach for the WHOLE YEAR. The money will be paid directly to the teacher on a monthly basis. This will ensure at least 30 children will learn to read the Quran on a daily basis.

Educated and empowered Girls living in the slums.
£1800 a year will provide 30 students access to 2 extracurricular and computer teachers. We care is currently sending 2 qualified teachers to the students living in the slums. The teachers are offering tuition support and computer skills for our students on a daily basis.
Education
Donate £1000 to help empower girls from the slums.
We Care has head-hunted 4 girls talented girls from the slum. The girls are keen to educate themselves, sadly poverty prevents this. We have set up a program where the girls support the teachers on a daily basis. In return we give them £20.00 a month. This gesture allows the girls to support their families and stay in education for longer.

women receive medical assistance, burnt children hospital care, clean water systems, orphans,
